Jalen Williams finished with 29 points (4 3PM), 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, and 3 steals while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 28 points and 6 assists for Oklahoma City in the losing effort. The Nuggets improve to 5-3 on the season, while the Thunder fall to 7-1.
After tonight’s game, Nikola Jokić becomes the first player in league history to record a game with 20+ PTS, 15+ REB, 15+ AST, 2+ STL, and 2+ BLK (since steals and blocks were first recorded in 1973-74).
Nikola Jokić joins Russell Westbrook as the only players to record a 20-20-15 game since 1968. Westbrook tallied 20 PTS, 20 REB, 21 AST in an OKC win over LAL on Apr. 2 2019. The last player to have such a line prior to them was Wilt Chamberlain on March 19, 1968.
