According to state-owned TASS, Russia is modernizing its MiG-31 high-altitude fighter-interceptor aircraft to improve its combat response capabilities. As part of the enhancement, the aircraft will be equipped with a fly-by-wire semi-automatic and computer-generated control system. Additionally, the radio-electronic apparatus onboard will be replaced with more sophisticated technology.
