✰ This is my second crochet video and i have taken all the feedback and comments from my other video. I appreciate every single one of them. Please don't make negative comments unless it's something I could improve on. I hope this video will help. I have seen the heart bags on youtube and i thought it would be a good idea to do a star one. I really love the bag and I hope you will enjoy it too. The bag is perfect to fit a book in. Its big enough to have a book wallet phone, keys and more ^^ ⁺˚⋆｡°✩₊
Something to note and measurements:
✰ I used an 8 ply
✰ 3.0mm hook.
✰ 23cm length
✰ 23cm wide
✰ 65cm strap
If you would like it to be bigger you may add more squares or use thicker yarn or bigger hook size.

( brackets ) = same stitch / whole
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tc = triple crochet
Slt = slip stitch
Flo = front loop only
Blo = back loop only
When 2 together eg : Flo sc = front loop only single crochet

Insert 14 dc in the circle

Sc on to the 2nd in that chain
Hdc in the 3rd
Dc in 4th
Tc in th
Slt into 3rd stitch on the circle part
Repeat from * until you have five points
Then cut
2 white part
Insert next color into one of the points
Ch 1
*Hdc , dc , tc, tc 2 together , tc , dc , hdc , sc Repeat from *
Repeat this all around the points
3 white part
Slt into chain 1
Hdc , dc , tc , ( tc , ch 2 , tc ) , tc , dc , hdc , sc , repeat from *
Until you have 4 points
4 white border
Slt
Sc until the corner
In the corner do ( sc 3, )
Sc until next corner
Repeat until you have done all four points and then slt , ch 1
Then Cut

5 make 18 of these squares
Get 2 granny squares and put the good sides of the granny square on the inside.
Get a needle with yarn and sew it though but flo ( the loop that's toward you ) and the back loop of the other
6 border of panel
Start by inserting your hook in the corner of the panel ch 1 and single crochet around the panel until you reach the dips ( between the granny squares you attached ) then do 2 dc in between them ( only if yours has dips like mine ). Keep sc all around
Chain 1
Flip ( bad side towards you )
Double crochet back loop only and do it on 3 sides of the panel
Do the same with the other
7 attaching the panels
Get both panels and face the good side inside.
Attach from the corner and flo sc towards you and Blo sc on the other side .
8 Making straps
Chain 5
Skip 1 , 4 sc
Ch 1 , flip , 4 sc , repeat from *
Make the strap as long as you would like ( i did it around 65 cm ).
MAKE SURE YOU CUT THE STRING AS LONG
7 attaching the strap
Get your needle and using the string from what you cut ⬆sew it together. ( Sew it together your way ^^ )
8 optional
Single crochet along the sides and handles
Single crochet between the straps and in between the straps
