Grunge Effect: How To Create Distress Text Effect In Photoshop (2022)
In this tutorial, we will create a new Grunge or Distress Text Effect in Photoshop and design an old print-like texture using a brush tool and give Wild West touch to it. By learning this process, you can easily apply the grunge effect to any font or layer. You can also download my Free Essentials Brushes for Photoshop from the below link.
Firstly we will adjust the word and align it to the center.
In next step, you will also learn how to wrap the text and fill space with a basic custom shape.
Then, you will also learn how to use mask and some shortcut keys to boost the process.
Proceeding to the main step, we will create a grunge or distress effect using Layer Mask and Brush Tool.
Then you will also learn to use Blending Option in Layer Style Panel. This process will give nice effect and help the top layer to blend naturally with the bottom layer.
So in the overall tutorial, You will learn, How to use wrap tool, layer mask, ripple effect, brush tool, grunge effect, text alignment and many more
