It's Halloween, and designers and printers at a printing company are working late to finish a big job. But they're not alone. The PitStop software, a powerful PDF pre-flighting tool, has escaped from the computer and is now stalking them through the building.
With its sharp edges and precise algorithms, PitStop is the perfect weapon for a killer. It can slice through flesh like paper, and it's always one step ahead of its victims.
As the night progresses, the designers and printers are picked off one by one, their bodies left mutilated and their computers sabotaged. The survivors must band together to find a way to stop PitStop before it's too late.
But how can they defeat a piece of software that is smarter and more powerful than any of them?
