Why not try the Gallery Go App by Google compared to the Google Photos App maybe nicely surprised!
How many times have you wanted to show someone a recent photo or video on your phone and you cannot find it? For me, it's always been Google Photos, yet recently with the new Photos App updates, there seems to be too much clutter (like the Recent Highlights getting in the way).
I tried Gallery Go and it does exectly what it says, delivers photos fast and simple. For me, releasing some of the annyance and stress, means I can sort my device folders SO MUCH easier than before. I use Open Camera with three bracketed photos, then Vibrance HDR to merge the three images and often Snapseed and PhotoDirector to edit after that.
Google Photo deliver five copies of the same photo, sure I can find the Snapseed folder yet Gallery Go does it FASTER :) .. \o/ ..
