Achieving a great metal drum sound with ZERO external processing (preset included)! This is an in-depth review and demo of Drumforge's newest Drumforge Savior sample library, with comparison against Drumforge Bergstrand and discussion on Drumforge Savior's strengths and weaknesses.
As the third sample library release by Drumforge, Drumforge Savior is touted to have detailed sampling and versatility. In this video, I will test Drumforge Savior in a metal mix context with the drum mix done entirely inside the Drumforge Savior sampler. I will also compare Drumforge Savior with Drumforge Bergstrand in the same mix to demonstrate their differences.
I will also discuss, explain, and showcase some of the advanced features in Drumforge Savior, such as the ability to choose among spaced-pair, XY and ORTF miking techniques for the overhead microphones.
