In this video guide I will show you how to release a genetically modified dinosaur. Pretty easy to do early on in the game. Just need scientists with enough genetic stats to be able to select the different gene traits to research. Just go to the research tab, then by the welfare category select gene modification and make sure to research a gene that is not a cosmetic.
Once you have that researched to to the hatchery to select which dinosaur you want to apply it to and press X over the one you want. Now select which gene you want with RB and wren done hit X to save the selection. Now just incubate the dinosaur until you can select the eggs.
When selecting the eggs make sure in the boxes on the right hand side show the trait you applied it to shows up. Select that egg with the desired trait and wait until you can release it. Once released the achievement will pop.
