Для исправления ошибки необходимо полностью удалить игру и переустановить её заново.

Source: Most of the time, some files from 1.0 version are conflicting with files from other versions (beta test versions), because they got unpacked in the same folder.
Recommended fix: Uninstall the game, delete all the residual files the installation folder may contain, and re-install the game in a different folder (you need to manually change the path during the installation process).
