NASA's final decision regarding the two stranded astronauts has pleased the public. Based on their "core value": safety, Butch and Suni will now return on the Crew-9 Dragon and Boeing's plagued Star liner will return without a crew on board.
Two NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will now have to wait for a SpaceX Crew Dragon to return them from the International Space Station in February, stretching an eight-day journey into an eight-month one.

This is an insult to the aerospace giant that has a decades-long head start over newcomer SpaceX. You should forget or should not forget their arrogant attitude 7 years ago when Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg made challenging claims to the fledgling SpaceX company.
Also, they confidently declared "We go for substance, not pizzazz." as a way to underestimate its rival. At that point, Boeing was praised as a legacy company whereas SpaceX looked like a new kid in the block. They were described by the words such as "cowboys", "dangerous", and so forth. This came from Musk's lofty ambitions for the company. He espoused self-landing, reusable, cheap rockets, and a wider goal of enabling humanity to become a multi-planetary species by colonizing Mars.
So, now, let's see what Boeing's substance can do.
The Boeing Star liner spacecraft took 14 years and cost Congress $5.1 billion to develop. However, it has only made three test flights, none of them are completely successful, and the vehicle is still not operational. More notably, the troubled vehicle is being stranded on the ISS, making Nasa a headache for a while, and is waiting for a rescue mission.
