Table Rock Trail. A strenuous and challenging 7.2 mile hike. It is not a casual stroll and is not for the faint of heart. What makes it difficult is its change in elevation, which is 2,316 ft. The trail includes uneven rock stairs, boulders, and logs. It takes an average of 5 hours to complete, not including the rest at the top. Take a lot of water. You will need it. We had lunch at the top. The views from the top are spectacular. It makes the hike worth it. Coming down is hard on the knees. It's one of the hardest trails I've ever hiked. Many people have grown up in this area and have never hiked this trail. It's located in Table Rock State Park in Pickens, SC. The admission is $6 per person. Let me know if you made it.
