This video is the second part (2 of 2) on the techniques that I use for rendering facial hair (beard, mustache, goatee, etc). The process that I use is very similar to graphite or colored pencil drawing techniques by first adding pigment and then removing it using a variety of tools. I am painting this one on 15 oz cotton duck canvas, prepared smooth with heavy gesso. Within this video I'll go over every technique that I use. I hope that some of you find this video helpful.
