"Tragedy" ~ Thomas Wayne w/ The Delons (1958) Fernwood Records (Alternate take ) . The released version of, "Tragedy", was on Fernwood #109 w/ the flip side being, "Saturday Date". Recorded in October 1958 and a hit record of 1959.
Thomas was born, Thomas Wayne Perkins, in Batesville, Mississippi in 1940 and sadly passed away in an automobile accident in 1971; at just 31 years old. Scotty Moore, Elvis' guitarist, produced this song.
The version I posted here, again, is an alternate take and does have strings included.... I AM AWARE OF THIS and do not need to be told. I am a record collector and do have 7 copies of the released version of "Tragedy" on Fernwood, but this is the version that I CHOSE to upload here, if you do not like this version, please, by all means, leave this video and go find whatever version you are looking for, w/out leaving lame comments, that I'll only delete.
