Mason started a little slow due to some technique issues but overall had a very good season and wins very simply: by being very powerful, low to the ground, and quick. He is an elite run-blocker who can do it all and has very crafty hands in pass-protection with good placement and the ability to reset his hands after a rusher's initial move.
I would rank Mason as a top 5-6 RG and this tape showcases the reasons why.
