This song was written by Carlos Santana and Tom Coster. Coincidentally, I met Tom Coster when he happened to come to a venue I was playing at. Right as he sat down I launched into Europa, not having any idea who he was and he immediately stood up with a perplexed look on his face. Afterward he came over and told me who he was and we had a good laugh!
I started playing this tune on electric guitar back in 1979 but since I started looping it on acoustic, I've been able to put my own stamp on it.
