You'll need the "Gennec" app (tested on iPhone) to "talk" with the doorbell.
Pros:
Easy to install.
They gave me extra screws in case I lost some.
Talks beautifully with my 2.4 GHz Wifi
Works with my iPhone
Set motion detection to a certain time of day
On-board recording using a micro SD card (doesn't come with it).
Instantly (with zero delay) notifies my phone when someone rings the doorbell.
Cons:
The app setup was puzzling. It's like their app was designed for third-party and they sort of retrofitted it to work with their doorbell. For example when the QR code shows up (on the app), there aren't really clear directions what to do WITH the QR code... I just guess that I needed to hold it close to the camera and push the doorbell button, and boom. The doorbell connected to my phone. I felt I got lucky with how easy the app/doorbell connection was.
Overall this is an upgrade from my previous smart doorbell (skybell). I like this so far.
