So I explored the AMD FSR technique and ported it to Resolve, a new upscale plugin for enhancing textures quickly.

What is AMD FSR?
AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, in short FSR, is a texture enhancing technique created by AMD. It uses a collection of cutting-edge algorithms with a particular emphasis on creating high-quality edges, giving large performance improvements compared to rendering at native resolution directly. FSR is not limited to the AMD GPU architectures only, it runs on a large variety of GPUs.
The FSR code is open source provided under an MIT License, so no issue in commercial projects.
However, porting this FSR to Resolve was not an easy task, took hours to analyze the FSR Shader code and algorithms, then implementing it to a fuse.
