Steps to reset your password
-------------------------------------
1) enter the GRUB menu
2) scroll down and change ro to rw
3) add either
init=/bin/bash
or
single
4) type:
mount -n -o remount,rw /
5) find out username with:
ls /home
6) change password with:
passwd USERNAME
7) type:
sync
reboot -f
