Why our Mayday / Air Disaster Sound Design video is gone from YouTube
A recent video where we documented the overuse of a sound effect 27 times throughout a single episode of Air Crash Investigation has been removed from YouTube.
It has been blocked from all countries by ole (Film/TV) who are claiming copyright over the video, despite it clearly passing the ‘Fair Use’ test as it is for the purpose of analysis and criticism.
Attempts to contact them to inform them of their mistake have been ignored. YouTube doesn't 'get involved' in these matters, preferring to completely surrender control over to large multi-national media conglomerates.
