Best streamer in the world; how to set it up part 1 (first in the world to showcase it)
My friend was right, this is pretty easy to set up on a random system, this is all it takes to do it on the lower level.
Correction it was a 50 ohm bnc to f connector/coax converter that was needed on both the Gustard u16 and the clock Oscilator box to function. (I used a short 30cm coax cable that he recommended. And yes my antenna cable is only 5m long and also 50 ohm. I was told that 50 ohm is what you need)
And after testing the GPS I can conclude that the timing/structure improves a bit but got a bit clinical in sound, and with antenna installed and then when it locked in to 9.99997 mhz it then got a lot more natural, plus LPSU and power cable also could improve the sound noticeably.
Don't ask me how to get an antenna lock, I don't fully know how to do that. And my friend told me that it does not have to show the antenna locked to really work. So that part is still a mystery to me.
(I was told that no antenna fix should still sound good, but you guys figure that out)
This information here is the root to the really good potential of the streamer sound.
(ultimately this long process done in this way or a similar way is the key to getting into that crazy streamer sound)
FYI the better Audio GD di-20 box instead of the Gustard u16 is much tougher to install a driver with and set up, but is ultimately at least 1.5x better. And FYI I don't think the Audio GD box works in Linux, just my guess. This Gustard u16 was just plug and play in Linux which is really nice.
