Fishing for FALL SUMMER FLOUNDER for KEEPER FLUKE in Long Island NY - Big churny swelly sweepy surf put me in the inlet looking for some keeper flatfish action. Went with the a single 5" Mister Twister Jerk Shad, 2oz bank sinker, 4/0 worm hook, all on a 3 way rig as the tide continued to roll out. Crowd was thin today so hard to gauge the bite. A few folks rolling out with no fish rolling in. About 6 casts in sand out a nice 20" keeper fluke. Thought the bite was going to ride hide but only took a few more hits from a couple of smaller fish. Popped a little after dusk.
