Stucco, Mortar Mix vs Cement All materials.
Howdy all in this video, were doing something we don't necessarily do, thats building up a wall.
We don't show how we do this as a rule however this homeowner asked if we could.
We did the build up at no charge just to show you folks other usages for “Cement All”
all the products shown here are from, "CTS, Rapid Set."
Cement all, can be used to fill potholes which will enable folks to drive over them almost immediately. Incredibly strong stuff and not advised by me for the average stucco projects.
“Cement All” is for Concrete repairs because of it's fast dry time and strength.
Another product from "Rapid set" is their "Mortar Mix"
I used it on these walls more to prove a point, that it drys too fast for the average home owner to use, but it was on my truck for other reasons.
Mortar Mix is a fast-setting, high strength structural repair material.
Mortar Mix can be applied from 1/2" to 6" thick.
For brick or blocks walls I recommend your normal stucco mixed with two to three times the amount of sand per amount of Portland stucco.
