The Kherson oblast is one of four former Ukrainian regions that became part of the Russian Federation as a result of a special military operation by holding a referendum on self-determination.
The flag of the Kherson oblast, presented in this video, was created on the basis of the old (Ukrainian) flag of the Kherson oblast and approved in 2022.
