Valerie Damaschek shares how Green River College helped her to obtain her high school diploma and Associate's degree and transfer to Southern Methodist University.
Valerie completed her high school degree in The Netherlands (MAVO) and then did a high school exchange year in Dallas, Texas. However, she could not finish because of COVID. Back home she decided to do one year of MBO.
Valerie said, "Unfortunately, this wasn’t for me, so I decided to go back to America and do a university preparation program in Boston for six months. I then transferred to Green River College where I was able to complete my high school and get an associate's degree at the same time.
