Kacamak is a potato porridge dish from Montenegro. It’s a very simple dish to make you only need Some potatoes , cornstarch/corn flour , some butter and some salted crumble cheese like goat cheese or feta
Method :
go ahead and peel and chop your potatoes
In a pot pour some salt and water and boil the potatoes . Depending on how thick you want the porridge is gonna determine how much water you use .
When it gets soft enough ,start to add your cornflour/con starch little by little . You have to mix it really fast so you don’t get lumps like I did and have to break them down later .
When you reach your desired consistency transfer it into a bowl , melt some butter and pour it over it . Then sprinkle some of the cheese on there .
