Drake PS7 - Trying to fix the unit with all these part and it worked for a bit May 9, 2023
I was able to restore the PS7 to working.
Upon attachment to the Drake TR7 all was well receiving.
Upon transmitting the PS7 stopped when the Transmit power was raised and the current increased.
The usual case here is to unplug the PS7 and try again and increase the current limit white pot inside a bit and try again.
In my case I could try this three times by power off and a little more current.
And then no output whatsoever.
After two days futzing with this thing I decided to sell it on eBay cheap.
And as I have NO power supply now for the TR7 - the TR7 may be going on eBay too.
