Me and mom shucked a few dozen oysters today so naturally I had to make a fried oyster sandwich on some white Evangeline Made bread.
Here is how to make it.
Ingredients:
12 shucked oysters in their juices
1/8 tsp granulated garlic
1/4 tsp Cajun seasoning
Few drops of hot sauce
1 C all-purpose flour(lightly seasoned)
2 slices bread (toasted if you like)
Mayonnaise and ketchup
Add the seasoning to the oysters and let sit about 20 minutes.
Roll in the seasoned flour and deep fry for about 2 1/2 minutes.
Remove and let drain on paper towels.
Add mayonnaise to each slice of bread.
Place oysters on one slice of bread. Add some ketchup. Top with
remaining slice of bread.
