HRC Interim President Joni Madison at NOW National Conference
Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Interim President Joni Madison delivered a keynote address on “The LGBTQIA+ Community in the Intersectional Feminist Movement” at the National Organization for Women (NOW) 2022 National Conference in Chicago. In her remarks, Joni highlighted the need for united action between the LGBTQ+ and intersectional feminist movements in the fight against the recent attacks on LGBTQ+ rights and abortion access.
The Events program reaches over 20k members each year through 30 fundraising dinner events, allowing us to elevate LGBTQ+ candidates around the country, keep volunteers engaged, amplify our work in the local community, and solicit corporate sponsorships and donations through our auctions. It also gives these members the opportunity to hear from important speakers who highlight our work.
