A bit on Starlings breeding:
Season: Starlings typically nest and breed from mid-February to early July.
Egg Laying: Females lay 4 to 7 slightly glossy, pale blue eggs.
Incubation: Both parents share incubation duties, with the female often remaining on the nest at night.
Hatching and Fledging: Baby starlings hatch after 11 to 13 days of incubation, and they fledge (leave the nest) at around 18 to 21 days of age.
Broods per year: A pair of starlings can raise two broods per year.
Nest Location: Starlings can nest in almost any space large enough for nests to fit.
Nest Building: Starlings can build nests in as little as 1-3 days.
