Blackmagic Pyxis 6k | 1 Hour In The City | 3:2 open gate footage
I took my Blackmagic Pyxis 6k with my Leica R 35mm and 28mm out the other day for an hour in the city to test is out in a run and gun scenario in the city. Hoping to test out rolling shutter performance, overall image performance, and dynamic range. It was a bit windy in the city so it was kinda hard to stay stable. So I applied a tiny bit of gyro stabilization to each clip to eliminate any rolling shutter. IMO seems like it helped a lot as this is my first time using. I usually use regular image stabilizer in resolve so there is still some kinks to work out as I think gyro stabilization softens the footage some. Everything was shot in 8:1 BRAW and graded with a phantom LUT.
