Contrary to popular belief, there are many different paths and routes into nursing at different stages in life, as one University of Stirling nursing student has demonstrated.
Mature student, Deborah Veitch, left an office job in financial services to pursue a career that she would find more fulfilling.
After completing an HNC, which she combined with her work as a nursing assistant, she went on to nursing degree course at the University of Stirling.
