SPA Alum Sarah McBride Talks About Being Transgender
On Sept. 27, Sarah McBride (SPA/BA ’13), talked with SPA Dean Vicky Wilkins about her experience coming out as transgender. McBride's new book, “Tomorrow Will Be Different,” provides an insightful look into the LGBTQ community’s battle for equal rights and what it means to be openly transgender.
McBride, who currently serves as national press secretary for the Human Rights Campaign, is one of the nation’s most prominent transgender activists.
