24 Hours in Palm Springs + LA Workouts & Recent PickUps
Life lately has been busy but spend 24 hours in Palm Springs with me as I balance work, fitness, and style in this quick desert escape. Just two hours from Los Angeles, Palm Springs offers a whole new vibe perfect for recharging.
Before heading to the desert, I hit the rooftop at 1 Hotels West Hollywood for a Hyrox-style workout with incredible city skyline views. Later in the video, I share a mini fashion haul featuring my latest Recent PickUps (per requests) casual LA-inspired outfits / street wear. Along with just everything I catch myself using a lot lately from clothes, shoes, jewelry to my go-to fragrance.
I haven’t spent much time in the desert, but I like how still it can be. It really lets you get into your thoughts. One of my favorite quotes is from The Alchemist:
“Before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we’ve learned as we’ve moved toward that dream. That’s the point at which most people give up. It’s the point at which, as we say in the language of the desert, one 'dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon.’”
What I get from this is that when you’re chasing a dream, the universe tests you. It’s to see how badly you want it and how far you’re willing to go to pursue it. It’s at the point when we feel we can’t go any farther or there are too many obstacles in our way that so many give up.
If I can leave you with one thing, it’s this: Don’t give up. Your breakthrough is just around the corner.
