It was Arsenical Copper and Arsenical Bronze. Which is HARDER than several types of STEEL, on Vickers Hardness Scale, a hardness scale which is appropriate to use, unlike Mohs Hardness Scale which should not be used when talking about hardness of hammers and chisels.
