This is the wildest blundered game I can ever recall between two 2800 players in the world elite. Both World Champion Magnus Carlsen and blitz phenom Hikaru Nakamura blundered 4 times in a 3 versus 3 rook endgame. Had it been a very complex heavy piece endgame with 3 pieces for each side and 6 or 7 pawns for both sides, complicated queening ideas and mating ideas, it would be quite reasonable to blunder once or twice in a 10 + 5 game. But the blunders here were simply out of control. Do you ever get the feeling that no one really knows what they're doing? Then you can definitely relate to this endgame! Nakamura may have been the $30,000 winner had he won this and used positive momentum to score another point or win an armageddon game.
