During the long runs and hot days I often get rush from the chest strap. I’m happy I was able to join the testing phase and have to say this HRM works well. The comfort is great, even after 14h of activity I didn’t feel it at all. And I was amazed how good the optical sensor can work if you place it on the upper arm. We were able to compare data from watch, chest strap and HR31 and even when watch OHR failed to show correct data, HR31 was identical with chest strap.

Designed For Accuracy.
For the past week, I've been running, rowing, walking, and biking with the new Coros Heart Rate Monitor, which comes in the form of an armband that you mount on your bicep or forearm. It is extremely comfortable thanks to the spandex and nylon materials and low profile, 9.7-gram sensor block. Comfortable and simpler to wear than a chest strap. The new arm-mounted Coros Heart Rate Monitor provides accurate source of heart rate data.

PRECISE DATA.
The new device fastens securely around your upper arm, and has an advanced multi-channel optical sensor. Comfortable and simpler to wear than a chest strap. Up to 3 simultaneous connections with Bluetooth-enabled devices. Wear detection allows for automatic device pairing for new workouts. 38 hours of full operation or 80 days in standby mode on a single charge. Rechargeable with a magnetic USB charging cable.

SLEEK & SNUG.
Simpler to wear than a chest strap, Cross soft fabric band lays flat around your arm and locks in place with its textured surface. The low-profile design prevents snagging on clothes or gym equipment, allowing you to forget you're even wearing it. It’s really comfortable to wear and the nylon strap is super comfortable – far more so than a chest strap. And if you’re into things like functional fitness, CrossFit or even yoga, it works well. For a middle ground, some athletes choose arm HRM straps like the Polar Verity Sense.

FLEXIBLE FIT.
Set the perfect placement and tension on the durable elasticated band by simply sliding the buckle until it feels snug. The secure velcro enclosure enables you to quickly remove the sensor to easily wash the band. The Coros Heart Rate Monitor is a simple, but effective tool for accurately measuring your heart rate during workouts. It doesn't matter if it's biking, a gym workout, a HIIT session, or just a simple jog, the Coros Heart Rate monitor is going to be accurate, consistent, and comfortable to wear.

ADVANCED SENSOR.
There are five LED lights with 4 photodetectors on the bottom of the monitor, and at its thickest point, it is only 9.9mm deep. It is secured to the strap with a couple of clear brackets so you can easily slide it off to clean the band over time. Coros latest generation multi-channel optical sensor provides high signal quality. Housed in a tough yet sleek body and protected under a scratch-resistant cover, Coros advanced sensor will deliver reliable and accurate heart rate data for years.

SUPERIOR BAND.
The band is made from a combination of polyester fiber, nylon, and spandex. It has a minimum circumference of 7.09 inches and a maximum circumference of 12.6 inches. Optical heart rate sensors work best when they're held securely against the skin. Coros band is designed to cradle the sensor flush against your arm to prevent external light from getting in to keep the signal quality strong, no matter your activity.

LASTING POWER.
This is in line with Coros' claim of 38 hours of tracking time and 80 days of standby time. Charging the Heart Rate Monitor takes about two hours. The Coros Heart Rate Monitor has excellent battery life. After taking it on a few different workouts, only a few percent of the battery had been drained. The HR monitor is rechargeable using the supplied magnetic charging cable, the magnet is very strong so very little prospect of it accidentally disconnecting while charging and it charges quickly.

WEAR DETECTION.
With built-in wear detection, the Coros Heart Rate monitor automatically powers on and off based on when it is worn. With that out of the way, you can adjust the strap as required to fit your arm. Generally speaking, the best and most accurate place for optical HR sensors is on the outside of your upper arm. Allowing you to automatically connect to your paired devices every time you start a workout.

MULTIPLE CONNECTIONS.
Designed to work seamlessly with your favorite Coros watches and app, it can also simultaneously pair with up to three devices, including non-Coros watches and other Bluetooth-compatible indoor trainers, bike computers, and more. All you have to do is plug the Heart Rate Monitor into its charging cable and head to the settings menu of the Ignite 3. You then pair it via Bluetooth in the "pair sensor menu" and that's it. As soon as a workout was enabled, the Coros Heart Rate Monitor would turn on and the Ignite 3 would use it during the workout.
