On June 8th, 2019, in honor of its pending removal from the live game, GM Island was subjected to the largest raid in its history [Citation Needed]. The island was swarmed with over 50 explorers organized under Dovah, an admin of the Exploration Reboot discord server. After failing to climb a mountain, desecrating a graveyard, hijacking the council room for an impromptu meeting, and capsizing a boat, the raid stormed the prison, where they formed an orderly queue while waiting to sit in the sacred chair.
They then formed a less orderly circle in an attempt to honor the Explorers who had passed on since the creation of Azeroth, but accidentally just wound up worshiping a panda instead.

Within two hours, the group became upset at the lack of game masters, and explorer MaximumSteel began harassing a GM on live chat, attempting to elicit a response. Declining multiple polite suggestions that the band of invaders leave, Maximum successfully antagonized the GM into action.
As the hapless explorers cowered in fear (or ran around nude), they were mercilessly banned. Some attempted to flee offline, but all were hunted down and culled. -MackyD (Hidden Azeroth)
