After the UX560 I reviewed a year or two ago, I was eager to try Sony's new offering, the UX570. The 560 didn't impress me much with it's audio quality, so I didn't expect much difference here... I was wrong. The sound quality on this recorder seems a lot better. I especially loved how it illuminated background noise when recording outside using 'focused' mode (see video). The design is also nicer IMHO and looks a bit more rough and ready but at the same time looking classy and smart.
