PMJ are an Italian company that make protective motorcycle apparel, and the big difference to other brands is that ALL PMJ products are handmade in Italy.
PMJ use protective TWARON and CORDURA materials in their riding jeans and clothing. Most riders are familiar with Cordura, and TWARON which is an innovative ballistic fibre also used in bulletproof vests that offers very high protection: it guarantees high resistance to wear, heat, cutting and very low flammability so you can ride fully protected.
Throughout the PMJ range there are 2 main types of protection. The first are jeans with the traditional 2 layer protection - an extra layer of twaron protective material is sewn inside the jeans. The second type is single layer technology, where the Twaron or Cordura fibres are interwoven into the material to offer all over a lighter, more flexible jean or jacket for greater fit and comfort. ALL PMJ products are CE certified protective motorcycle garments, and are available in different CE levels depending on the style. For example the top of the line TITANIUM jeans are AAA rated, and feature a 100% Twaron® ballistic fabric inner liner that is completely reinforced and mesh lined for a protection rating higher than most leather suits! On the other end of the scale are the ripped look STREET jeans that are single layer and still provide Level A protection. We also have a huge range of PMJ ladies styles available, including the very popular SPRING tights, which feature Level 2 Cordura protection, and the SARA High waisted single layer jeans.
