In 2019, weed delivery company Eaze initiated its innovative compassion program, in which donated meds are delivered to medical cannabis patients who lack the means to pay for them. Organizations such as Weed for Warriors and This is Jane Project have endorsed the program, in which cannabis is used as a pain-relief substitute for opiates and to supplement other medications.
