First Ever Primary School Battle of the Drums Kicks Off Garifuna Settlement Day Festivities
Activities leading up to the official celebration of Garifuna Settlement Day are officially underway with the first-ever Primary School Battle of the Drums Competition. The competition, which saw the participation of nine schools, took place in Punta Gorda Town today. Love News Senior Correspondent Paul Mahung has the story.
The winning school received three hundred dollars, meanwhile, fifty dollars was awarded for each subcategory. Winning schools also received trophies and medals to commemorate their victory.
