How to Write Music to Fit Your Melodies and Lyrics - Songwriter Tips
I'm giving these songwriting tips from the perspective of writing acoustic songs or singer-songwriter styles BUT these concepts can be applied to any style or genre and with any instrument (including METAL!)
These songwriter tips will help you through those songs that you're writing but feel something is missing or you've hit writer's block.
If you're new at songwriting, these tips will help you gain perspective and hopefully encourage you, and make the process of songwriting smooth!
I'm going to take you through an example using a song that I recently wrote and performed live at The Forge Irish Pub in Brandon, FL (love this place, the stage, and the folks here)!
And you'll learn how I came up with the chords and progressions to fit the melodies and lyrics that I had written.
