In mid May of 2020 Adobe issued an update for Premiere Pro and Media Encoder which added support for Apple ProRes Raw, and hardware accelerated encoding for H.264 and HEVC when using NVIDIA or AMD GPUs. In this video we test both software and hardware encoding to check out render times, file sizes and image quality. We also show you how to enable the hardware accelerated mode.
