I lived for food and it controlled me...
and here's how I overcame it.
This is by far the hardest video I have ever had to make. The whole editing process was emotional. Having to relive the hard expereinces wasn’t easy, but in order for me to fully move forward, I feel like I have to share this side of me. This video is a look into one of the major struggles I have experienced in my life. Food consumed me and I found myself living for it. That's not how we are supposed to live. Food is meant to fuel our lives and help us have the energy to experience life to the fullest. It's not meant to take it over and consume us. I hope that by sharing my experience you will know you are not alone. There is light at the end of the tunnel! There are brighter days ahead. Things will get better. I'm here for you and I love you guys so much. Thank you for being patient with me.

I started the becoming series as a way to document and share my experiences, to show the raw unfiltered truth. I want to be someone you can rely on to share the good and the not-so-good. It’s nerve-racking to share my personal struggles and experiences, but I want you to know you’re not alone. The series begins by sharing my struggles with food and body image and the lessons I learned along that journey.
