City beaches did see dangerous waves and currents on this weekend day.
The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazards statement, warning of high waves and dangerous currents.
Conditions will be “life-threatening” for swimmers — particularly those who are inexperienced, according to the weather agency. The weather will also be hazardous for people in boats.
The lake could see waves 3-8 feet tall and dangerous currents.
