Crash Testing at the GPSTC - 10-31-2018
I was able to help the guys out at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center do another crash test on October 31, 2018. The scenario on this one was to have one car roll through an intersection and be hit by another. Data obtained will be used in their accident investigation and reconstruction class.
People may not realize what is involved in staging these crashes so this video shows just a small part of the hours of planning and work that goes into doing one of these tests, which is over in a few seconds.
Included is a video by Truman Boyle which is a compilation of all of the videos from the cameras that filmed the impact. More crash videos can be found on his channel.
