The Black Lives Matter Movement Is Growing in Japan | VICE Asia
On Sunday, thousands took to the streets of Tokyo's Shibuya ward in Japan's largest Black Lives Matter protest to date. It was only the second weekend of protests in Japan, but the movement is growing, with additional protests in the city of Nagoya planned for June 21. VICE News met with protesters to discuss how much work still needs to be done in Japan to end racism and discrimination.
