When I heard this track, it was such an emotional rollercoaster for me, to see my language and culture being represented in the mainstream. And to come across a song that was made so beautifully, its music, its lyrics and visually everything was so well done. I wanted to make my version of the track, and do as much justice to the original as I could.
Aayi Aayi is a story of strength and courage, it’s the story that represents our culture, Sindhi shares the tales of resilience.
Through the journey of building the music I was overwhelmed with stories and experiences I came across about Sindh it’s not just a piece of music but a tale of emotions and finding home, hope and love even in the most extreme circumstances.
