ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
In this video, luxury real estate agent Tony Mariotti, explores West Hollywood (WeHo), covering its neighborhoods, real estate options, amenities, and overall vibe.

West Hollywood Layout:
West Hollywood is centrally located between Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The western half is busier, featuring nightlife and high-rise condos in areas like Norma Triangle, Tri-West, West Hollywood Heights, and West Hollywood West. The eastern half is quieter with low-rise condos in Center City and West Hollywood East.

Why People Live Here:
WeHo is the heart of L.A.'s LGBTQ+ community and offers vibrant shopping, dining, and nightlife options, making it livelier than Los Feliz, Hollywood Hills, or Beverly Hills.

Amenities:
Three main commercial areas provide most amenities: the touristy Sunset Strip with clubs and boutique shopping, West Hollywood East near La Brea Avenue with casual spots and the historic Formosa Café, and Santa Monica Boulevard known for its nightlife and local bars like the Troubadour. Santa Monica Boulevard is also part of historic Route 66.

Parks and Dog-Friendly Places:
West Hollywood Park features dog areas, basketball courts, a library, and an aquatic center. Plummer Park offers a playground, sports courts, and a farmer’s market. Nearby Runyon Canyon is ideal for hiking.

Daily Conveniences:
WeHo has two Trader Joe’s, multiple gyms, dog groomers, and a post office. It borders Beverly Hills, the Grove, and Beverly Center for upscale shopping.

Community Events:
WeHo celebrates Price Month culminating in Pride Weekend with its parade and the Halloween Carnaval, the largest Halloween street party in the U.S.

Real Estate:
West Hollywood’s real estate includes a mix of single-family homes and condos, with condos making up 75% of the market. High-rise condos are mostly on the western side, while low-rise buildings are spread throughout. Notable buildings include Sierra Towers, 8899 Beverly, WeHo EDITION, and The Pendry. Single-family homes are concentrated in Norma Triangle and West Hollywood West.
