Protesters DISRUPT VP Harris rally on Ellipse
October 29, 2024 - WASHINGTON, DC: Dozens of Pro-Palestine protesters marched on Vice President Kamala Harris' rally on the Ellipse. The group tried to drown out the sound of Kamala Harris' speech as rally goers tried to move away to hear the VPs remarks.
Thousands of Harris supporters gathered at the Ellipse and overflowed into the area around the Washington Monument on the National Mall, in a scene evocative of Trumps rally at the Ellipse on January 6 2021.
One estimate puts crowd at 75,000.
